Ritual Print Co was started in 2017 by friends and print nerds Kara Faye Gregory (left, below) and Rhys Jones (right, below). Both Rhys and Kara went to school for fine art with a concentration in printmaking - Kara at Minneapolis College for Art and Design, and Rhys at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. During and after school, both owners worked in a variety of professional print shop settings as well as printed and sold their own original designs on apparel. Brought together by a love for printing, bad words, dark aesthetic, and queer visibility, Rhys and Kara started Ritual both to create an identity-driven streetwear line as well as offer custom screen printing services to fellow artists and small businesses. Ritual now has a shop in the Northrup King Building in northeast Minneapolis, the city's premiere arts district. When they're not whipping up custom shirts and more for their many and kickass printing clients or printing their own gay and rude designs, you can also find Ritual at art and craft markets all over the Twin Cities and beyond.
